Sushi Samba

After my exams, I booked the Alexander McQueen exhibition and Sushi Samba on the same day. It was a little girl’s day out and a little down time for myself.

Sushisamba had the best sushi I have ever tasted! And it had an amazing view. It was located on the 38th floor of Heron Tower, just below Duck and Waffle. The only setback is that you have to pre book before you come in.

Looking at unlimited view of London while having lunch was not bad at all. Sushi Samba has a lovely terrace overlooking the whole of London and the Gherkin is just around the corner. The menu is very different from the typical Sushi bar and it’s more creative, because it is a Japanese-Brazilian-Peruvian fusion. However, if you don’t like sushi, it offers a few steak choices including the prestigious 1000 pound kobe beef.

And the best sushi of the day was El Topo. It was salmon, jalapenos rolled in melted mozzarella. And crispy fried onions. Yum. Definitely going back there just for this dish!london_alexander_mcqueen-15
